.....In 1972 this album was released and pressed into 1,000 copies, which were then given away by me, to many friends and family members, and some sold in stores…… Over the
years it has become a collectors item that has risen in value to $1,000 for a vinyl record, in jacket, in mint condition.
Because there were only 1,000 pressed, and because the songs on the album were
received very favorably over the years, it was decided we would take the original tapes and remaster them for a CD For the record: This album was made on a small Sony stereo reel to reel, one
instrument at a time, starting with the drums. After playing an instrument, I would send that music to the other side, and add the next instrument or vocal, going from left to right, until it was
completed. I played and sang everything, and recorded it in my bedroom at 57 west 8th Street in Greenwich Village, apt1a. To this day, under the dropped ceiling, there is a full size map of Middle
Earth, which I hand painted, extending over the entire living room. Gandalf The Grey 11-13-01

This is the original CD (A very few original albums exist.) Gear Fab has taken a few "bonus" cuts from other sessions and added them to it... Transfered from the original
pressing, the music has been restored to it's "as recorded" sound. They are also offering it on vinyl as well..... Mint condition original vinyl is now going for $1,000 as of 10-10-01

This is the case for the new CD "Conversations with Mom"........These are
songs that Tina says are "houses in the country" that I'm depriving her of...(I think she means Hits.) Songs I've written and recorded and forgot about as time went by..
This CD, "Conversations With Mom, (and Dad)" is a compilation of various songs I've done between 1968 to 2001.I dedicate this
CD to the many collectors around the world who welcome it…. Paul Major, JP, Morten Larsen and WFMU's Tony Coulter...John from Rock It Scientist Records says you all add to the Wizard Legend….you humble me
and I thank you……. I must mention Bill Burr, a brilliant engineer, (not recording) who could play pedal steel like an angel…...He does all the steel work, and his favorite was our opening number: "Memories
Of the Wind". Legolas the Elf, a tremendously loyal friend who has gone to the wall for me on more than one occasion, plays all the best guitar stuff…Leg and I used to play 2 Ovation 12 strings in
Washington Square Park, where I would sing for coins many years ago…….that's where I met one of John Lennon's band managers, Gene O'Brien….a friend who was there during some special times…….. Bill Porter,
Glenn Mack, Op Ranaldo, Wizzette and all the others, who over the years got added to this wonderful story…..without you I am nothing. May The Force be with you all…….Live Long and Prosper………..
