I always loved this tune, I wrote it 30+ years ago, and I finally understand what the words are talking about.  I guess it's all a part of growing up.

Truth and Things

A tree is growing in the woods,
A home is being built for some one.
And when a child's being good,
You can bet it's done for someone.

    Of  thee I sing,
    Of  Truth And Things.

The sun comes out to greet the Spring,
And Life begins anew again.
A brand new Mother greets her child,
the World stands up upon it's end.

    Of  thee I sing,
    Of  truth and things.

A child lives, A star is Shinning.
Someone has heard, and now someone is crying.

A whistling wind that sounds like angels.
Calls to someone, maybe me.
A single tear drop floods the room,
A tiny rain drop floods the sea.

And it's of these things I sing.
    Truth and things.
